Meet The Team
Just kidding… there’s no team. It’s just me!
A lifetime ago I fell into property management. Quite accidentally, it became my passion for almost 30 years.
I loved getting to know my residents and taking care of things they didn’t know they needed. This included providing them with a safe, comfortable space to call home, and getting to know and love their fur babies.
In 2017, I became an Empty-Nester, and began pet-sitting for family and friends. I also began dedicating more time to another passion… writing! I found myself traveling more often, and fell in love with New York City (and a very special Frenchie who lived there!). I published “Random Mementos” in September of 2024, chronicling the time I spent in NYC.
What eventually evolved, quite organically, was a new passion for taking care of other people’s pets, and it became clear that my time in property management needed to come to an end.
Over 50, Empty-Nester, pet-lover, traveler, author. These would be the terms to describe the next chapter in my life.
Since creating LulaBees in 2022, I have met and worked with over forty clients and their fur babies in New York, Vermont, California, and all over the DFW Metroplex, as well as my hometown of Waxahachie. It has been an interesting, and sometimes challenging experience, and I am loving every minute of it!
I am a mom to two beautiful adult daughters and a grandmother to a rambunctious grandson. I have an incredibly patient and understanding husband of 35 years, and together we have owned an assortment of dogs and cats. Our current household includes 4 rescue cats between the ages of 3 and 20 years, but over the years, we have been parents to 2 Miniature Schnauzers, a beagle, a human dressed as a strawberry-blonde spaniel/retriever mix, and our beloved Chocolate Lab, Coco. Ask to see pictures of my family, and you will find me scrolling through a frightening amount of cat/dog pictures/videos.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies.
Get in touch so we can get to know each other — I’d love to work with you!
And more importantly, meet my family below!

Elphaba (who crossed the rainbow bridge 5/11/22. We miss you!)
Hestia (who showed up on our doorstep during the pandemic)

Mama Kitty, my 20 year old office kitty who came home with me when I retired (MamaKitty crossed the rainbow bridge on 6/8/23. Thank you for brightening our days at work, as well as all the residents who met you. You will be missed!)

Lixie (our sweet rescue who missed her sister, Elphaba, terribly, and crossed the rainbow bridge 12/31/24. Gosh we miss you!)
